Erin Gruwell of the Freedom Writer's Foundation shares her classroom wisdom with our community! 

Erin Gruwell is a collaborative writer for the best selling The Freedom Writers Diary: How a Teacher and 150 Teens Used Writing to Change Themselves and the World Around Them, which became a feature film entitled Freedom Writers, starring Academy Award winner Hilary Swank.  Erin Gruwell and her students have been featured on Oprah, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Prime Time Live, and Good Morning America while on their quest to promote improved educational reform.
